(Near Fenway Park, MA)
Beer Pong officionados will enjoy the thought of Beer Pong Experts playing near Fenway Park where last year's World Series Champs, the Boston Red Sox made history. In a similar historic event, a friendly grudge match took place between Wildman and Amish. Mr. Wildman, who in the last encounter with Amish at the Jillian's Beer Pong tables was trounced, decided it was time for some bittersweet revenge. While the two were not drinking at or even near full capacity, this was a chance for the two to practice for the much antipated Kaino II beer pong tourney happening next week.
The classic pong table was certainly a make-shift one at best, but Wildman came out roaring with an 8-1 lead over the stunned and unfocused opponent. Perhaps the new Wildman Pong paddle weapon is something to be feared. After all, it certainly has a "sizable" advantage, let alone a master with over 15 years of Beer Pong Experience. However, this is not the traditional wheel paddle that often intimidates Wildman's opponents, but rather an inconspicuous weapon of Beer Pong destruction. As the sinkings continued, there was a brief lull in activity, followed-up by a Dominos pizza distraction (inhaled by the leading Beer Pong Contender) enabling Amish to earn several points and well-respected throwbacks. However, it was not enough to stop the rising beer pong sinks as this one closed at the bell 21-10.
It is worth noting that both players were slightly under the weather and realistically drank about a fraction of what they should have based on historic beta beer pong rules. However, this valiant effort was made in order to get back into healthy shape for the Kaino Beer Pong sequel tourney in less than one week. Lastly, as Wildman had also a stunning start in a practice session in 2004 and was ousted quickly in the first round of the Sarge Philly tourney, will this be a repeat, or will his pong skills take him to the finals as they did in 2001. Amish will need a more disciplined focus - one we have seen in the past to have a fighting chance at the Kaino II title match-up.

Amish: "The man was a MACHINE tonight - totally on fire! I could barely keep up, like college all over again.I just hope for Bill's sake that he can pull it through next weekend when it really counts..." |
